There are beautiful views of the nearby beach, Rocha Negra and the sea and it is just a short walk to all the facilities that the charming Praia da Luz has to offer. Car not required.

The Blue Flag beach offers safe bathing and all types of water sports from May to October. The historic town of Lagos is some six minutes drive away and has a vast range of restaurants to suit every taste. Palmares Golf Course, Boavista and Penina Golf Courses are a 5 to 25 minute drive away to the east, while Parque da Floresta Golf Course is a 20 minute drive to the west. For the children there are a variety of water parks and theme parks within a 30 minute drive. Horse riding stables are at Almadena, also just a short drive away. There is a fairly good bus service into Lagos, 6 kms away, and taxis are readily available from a rank in the village.
